  • Filing of court documents and any other legal documents;
  • Service and facilitating service of Legal Documents or any other documents taking hearing dates in Litigation matters;

Cleaning Supervisor I – 20 Positions

County Solicitor

Pursuant to section 17 of the County Attorney Act, 2020, the County Government of Machakos wishes to recruit a competent and qualified person to fill the position of County Solicitor. The County Solicitor shall, inter alia, be the principal assistant of the County Attorney.

Social Welfare Officer II – 2 Positions

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Representing the department of social welfare and civic empowerment
  • Mainstreaming disability issues and assisting in registration, screening and referrals of persons with disabilities. (PWD’s).
  • Sensitization of improved welfare for the elderly persons.
  • Capacity building of community groups on economic empowerment, leadership and management.
  • Data collection on all registered groups.
  • Regular visits and support for registered children’s home.
  • Handling GBV (Gender Based Violence) issues through counselling and referrals.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly report on field visits, activities and events which are
  • being undertaken in social welfare programs.
  • Represent the Department at seminars and conferences related to social welfare in Sub-Counties.
  • Represent the department at Sub-County Human Development related meetings such as sector working groups.
  • Provide advice and support to the technical staff working within the respective field offices.
  • Support in updating and sharing with staff recent developments and knowledge tools in the areas of interventions.
  • Monitor and report on social safeguards on County projects in your Sub-County
  • Attend conferences and seminars as directed by your supervisor.
  • Ensure gender integration in the day-to-day activities.
  • Undertake any other duty that may be given from time to time from Social Welfare office.
