Candidates Selected to Join the Public Service Under the PSIP Cohort (V)

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has handpicked a group of 3,902 exceptional candidates who will embark on an exciting journey in the public service through the Public Service Internship Program (PSIP) Cohort V. These talented individuals will have the opportunity to serve their country for a period of 12 months, bringing their unique skills and perspectives to the table. Our talented candidates will be placed in various Ministries, State Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) under the guidance of experienced mentors.

The commission’s call for internship applications was met with an overwhelming response, as over 30,000 eager candidates threw their hats in the ring. After a rigorous screening process, a select group of 7,400 were invited for interviews, and from there, only the cream of the candidates – 3,902 to be exact – were chosen to join the esteemed 5th cohort of the PSIP. The PSIP program has once again proven to be a game-changer as this year’s cohort adds to the impressive tally of over 15,000 beneficiaries since its inception in 2019.

Before being assigned to their designated workstations, the selected individuals will participate in a comprehensive orientation program. Stay tuned for updates on the dates for induction, deployment, and reporting. We’ll be sure to keep you in the loop as soon as we have all the details ironed out.

You can find the roster of selected individuals on the Commission’s official webpage. The PSC portal offers a convenient way for applicants to keep track of their application status.
