Job Purpose Statement

Reporting to the Group Director- Marketing, Communications & Citizenship, the purpose of this role is to facilitate successful execution of the department’s projects and operations. This role will ensure activities succeed by working with the MCC team through Operations and Gate Process. This will enable manage operations and projects end to end from brief, planning, execution and after action review. The ideal candidate will have leadership, project
management, teamwork, problem-solving, administrative and technical skills The role is directly accountable to deliver the following:

• Gate Process Management: Establish and implement the Four Stage Gate Process for all MCC projects from Brief/Memo, Production, Implementation and Evaluation. Ensure the Gate
• Keepers are well briefed on projects and approval requirements.
• Routine Management: Organize weekly Decision Point Meetings, contact attendees and note anyone who can’t attend. Send out relevant information before the meeting and minute details and actions of the Decision Point meetings.
• Project Data Base Management: File all project documents in a database and make sure that they are accurate and accepted by the project owners. Monitor the schedule and deadlines for each task. Check every day to make sure deadlines are still possible. Ensure projects are aligned to strategy and approved plans.
• Project Owner Relationship: Ongoing connects with Project Owners to unlock potential barriers to project success, timely delivery and track approval stages. Liaise with department
• Business Managers and Administrative Assistants to secure activity timings for on-going MCC projects.

• Negotiation skills to bring everyone in line with strategic project goals and time management and planning abilities to deliver projects in time
• Team management skills include the ability to instruct, call out delays in deadlines, and handle conflicts while keeping project owners motivated to deliver projects within target timelines.
• Must have experience and ability to identify what could go wrong and implement a risk mitigated strategy to avoid risks in projects.

Desired Work Experience:

• +5 years’ relevant experience – Managing projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Scrum and Agile methodology experiences an added advantage
• An excellent planner and organizer with expert proficiency in Project Management skills

The Investment Advisor role is responsible for offering sound strategic, medium term and day to day investment advice to retail investors in the securities market. Monitoring, analysing and continuously improving the brokerage business by conducting client/market research and analysing economic, capital market and industry trends to make investment recommendations to retail investors. The holder will is tasked with managing a portfolio of clients by acquisition and retention and maintain a well segmented structure to ensure efficiency and optimal client engagement and support to develop a robust trading and investment culture.

Job Specifications

Academic:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or other business related discipline

Professional:

• CISI Level II or III/CMA Exemption Certificate
• ATS certification (desirable)
• ICIFA associate or full membership.

Desired work experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the capital markets or financial services industry.
• Successful track record in Business Development
• Deep knowledge of the Financial Markets

The role holder is required to achieve customer growth, monitoring and compliance, client satisfaction and retention management for corporate banking division through collaborative account management and delivering reports with the sectors Assistant Relationship Managers and Relationship Managers and other stakeholders in the organisation. The role will ensure the NCBA Corporate Brand and Products messaging is consistent and engaging. The main duties include preparing detailed media reports, creating informative content, press releases, articles, and media opportunities to share NCBA`s company’s brand communication plan, products, and services. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, with brilliant presentation, relationship building, collaboration and organizational skills.

The role is directly accountable to deliver the following:

• Strategy: Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build customer loyalty programs, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction.
• Content: Create informative and functional press releases, press kits, newsletters, and related communication materials.
• Project Management: Supervise internal and external projects to guarantee all communication content is publication-ready.
• Agency Relationship: Manage the public relations agency day to day engagements including detailed media activity analysis.
• Stakeholder Relationships: Facilitate build stakeholder relationships including media, private and public sector partnerships
