Qualifications required:
Essential: University degree or higher in medicine, pharmacy or health-related field.
Desirable: Advanced degree in medicine, pharmacy or health-related field.
Experience required:
Essentialtwo years of working experience in the field of public health, infectious diseases and/or pharmacy within a hospital setting and in the regulation of drugs and medical products.
Desirable: Experience in working with government, nongovernment and/or with regional or international organizations.

Consultant – Health Emergency Information and Risk Assessment (HIM/WHE)
Qualifications, experience, skills, and languages
Eligible participants include those with the following qualifications:
Education:
Completion of the university or post-graduate degree in a public health, epidemiology, quantitative methods and/or medicine, complemented by degree in epidemiology, public health, control of infectious diseases or a related discipline from a recognized university;
Experience:
Minimum two years’ relevant work experience with successful track record in epidemiology, information management, quantitative methods, surveillance and/or control of outbreaks, with proven field experience in epidemics or public health emergencies at national and international level;
Desirable:
Relevant work experience in WHO, other UN agencies; experience working in relevant nongovernmental or humanitarian organizations. Experience in developing countries.

Qualifications
Required: An advanced university degree in Medicine or Public Health
Desirable: Certification in health economics, healthcare accounting or a related field
Experience
